Arciform
LLC is restoring and remodeling a home originally built in 1909
in the Alameda Ridge - Hollywood District of Portland, Oregon that
will use and support the most current practices of green design/remodel,
is a model of energy efficiency and uses earth-friendly materials
while restoring and maintaining the original period features of
the home.
Instead of being
clientdriven, Arciform is the "client"as well as
the contractor, maintaining control of the entire project so that
we incorporate as many Earth
Advantage features as possible in design and construction (energy
efficiency, healthier indoor air, resource efficiency and environmental
responsibility, etc.) Arciform is making the home available to the
public as a green remodeling resource throughout the progress of
the remodel/restoration from the period of October 1st, 2004 through
completion of the project March 1st, 2005. At that time the house
will be shut down
for the purpose of dressing it and then reopen for the 2005
Tour of Remodeled Homes on March 12 & 13th, 2005.
We will show
